• The applications will be scrutinized by the Institute and a list of eligible candidates will be displayed in the Institute’s Notice Board and Website. The candidates will have to appear in tests conducted by the Selection Committee of the institute
  • An admission test will be held on the date published by the Institute. The test generally takes place in the month of April and/or October every year.
  • There will be an MCQ-type test followed by a written test.
  • On the basis of the result of the written test, a list of preliminarily selected candidates will be published. Candidates who will pass the written test will have to appear for a viva.

MCQ Test

One has to answer all the questions from all the topics. The duration of the test will be 45 minutes.Topics for the MCQ Test:

  6. Electronic Devices

Written Test

A descriptive-type written test will be conducted for the Master’s admission. There will be 2 questions on each topic. A student will answer 6 sections, i.e., 12 questions (maximum). Each question will be of 5 marks. The duration of the test will be 1.5 hours. The topics that will be covered are as follows:
