A meeting of the Alumni of IICT was held at the Conference Room on 24.05.2025 at 4:00 pm. The meeting was held on dual platforms: online and offline. Approximately 30 alumni were present physically at the venue while another 30+ alumni joined online via zoom. All the current IICT teachers were also present in the meeting.

The main agenda of the meeting was to form IICT Alumni Association (IICTAA). The following decisions were taken in the meeting.

1. An adhoc committee was formed:
   • Convenor: Prof. Dr. Mohammad Osiur Rahman
   • Member Secretary: Mohammad Delwar Hossain
   • Executive Members:
     • Mst. Shahnaj Parvin
     • Golam Rabbany
     • Md. Sihabul Islam
     • Farhad Hossain Rakib
     • Md. Turab Hossain
     • Treasurer: Dr. Hossen Asiful Mustafa, Director, IICT
     • Advisor: Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam
   • The committee will formulates rules& guidelines, committee formations, election mechanism, membership fees, etc.
   • The committee will handover duties to the elected committee by June 2026.
2. WhatsApp group and LinkedIn page will be opened for future communication.
