IICT arranged a farewell program to appreciate the contribution of retiring Professor Dr. S.M. Lutful Kabir, who completed his LPR on 28.06.2025. Prof. Kabir started his journey at BUET in 1982 and was the founding Director of the Institute. In the program, Prof. Md. Saiful Islam, Prof. Md. Liakot Ali, Prof. Md. Rubaiyat Hossain Mondal, Prof. Hossen Asiful Mustafa, Dr. Md. Jarez Miah, and Md. Delwar Hossain expressed their tributes to Prof. Kabir. The program concluded with a speech from Prof. Kabir.
